Portuguese Milk Tarts Recipe Comments
Kathy
Never made these before so hoping for a bit of guidance. Should I use a cupcake pan? 12 cakes size. Does the recipe make only 8 tarts as servings suggests?

Actually Kathy, you will probably need a couple of those cupcake pans, this recipe makes about 20 tarts.

Hi! There, Thank you for sharing your recipes!! A question for the milk tarts recipe? Can we add pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean to this recipe?

My family's favorite. I've made these many times. I cannot go to my brothers place without them. They also freeze well.

Does it matter what kind of milk you use? Is 2% ok or does it need to be whole milk?
