Portuguese Bread Recipe Comments

I just baked your recipe as we have trouble finding good, crusty bread here in Florida. I used a baking stone and the bottom of the bread stuck so no bottom crust. Is the baking stone the problem?

Shawn, most likely, specially if you didn't dust it with flour.

10 minutes before the bread is done, remove the tray with water.

Mine came out like a sticky paste not a dough. Is this how it should be?

8 grams Anne, and don't forget, it's instant dry yeast and not active dry yeast.
