- 1 lb of chestnuts
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 tbsp of butter (soft)
- 7 eggs (separated)
- 2 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of lemon juice or vinegar
Optional: Decorate the top with a dusting of powdered sugar
