I have been making vinho d’ahlos for years using my grandma’s recipe of vinegar, garlic, pickling spices, peppers and S&P. I was told when my ancestors immigrated from the Azores to Hawaii wine was too costly so they substituted with vinegar. This recipe is delicious. The flavor is excellent and the meat very tender. Thankyou for sharing. My family loved it.
