This stew features tender chunks of chuck beef, slow-cooked to perfection alongside mini Yukon gold potatoes and vibrant slices of Portuguese chouriço, a flavorful, slightly spicy sausage. The dish is enriched with a base of sautéed onions, garlic paste, and a splash of red wine, which deglazes the pot and adds depth to the stew. Carrots add a touch of sweetness and color, while tomato sauce and beef broth create a rich, savory sauce that ties all the ingredients together.

The stew is seasoned with black pepper, hot pepper sauce, and salt, providing a balanced kick that complements the hearty ingredients. Served hot, this stew is a perfect comfort food, offering a taste of Portugal's rustic, homestyle cuisine. It's a dish that not only warms the body but also brings a sense of tradition and warmth to the table.
