2 apples 14 oz (400 g) ricotta cheese 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar 1 egg 1/4 cup (50 ml) milk 1/2 cup (70 g) potato starch 2 teaspoons baking powder
Preparation
Start by placing the ricotta in a bowl and softening it with a fork. Add the egg, sugar, sifted potato starch with baking powder, and milk. Then, using an electric mixer, beat until you get a thick, smooth batter.
Wash and peel the apples, then slice them thinly. Pour the cake mixture into a springform pan lined with parchment paper.
Arrange the apple slices on top and bake in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C) for about 40 minutes.
Once the cake is baked, let it cool completely. Serve dusted with powdered sugar or brush with apple or peach jam for extra flavor.
