Maria Biscuits and Cream Cake Recipe


Ingredients
300g of Maria biscuits (approximately 10.5 ounces)400ml of 35% whipping cream (approximately 1 2/3 cups)1 can (approximately 14 ounces) of condensed milk
Preparation
  1. Crush the Maria biscuits until you obtain a fine powder.
  2. Whip the very cold whipping cream until firm, then add the condensed milk and mix very well.
  3. In a springform pan, place a layer of crushed biscuits and level it, then cover with a layer of cream.
  4. Repeat the layers, always leveling with a spatula.
  5. The last layer should be crushed biscuits.
  6. Refrigerate overnight.
  7. Remove the springform ring and sprinkle the sides with grated biscuits.

Additional Notes:

Maria biscuits are a type of plain, round, and slightly sweet cookie common in Portugal and Brazil. If you can't find them, you can substitute with graham crackers or other similar plain cookies.
