Ingredients

2 lbs of apples, peeled and cut into pieces1/4 cup of butter1/4 cup of sugarJuice of 1 lemon2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon3/4 cup of softened butter2 and 1/2 cups of flour1 cup of sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 210°C or 410°F.
  2. In a frying pan, heat the 1/4 cup of butter and the 1/4 cup of sugar.
  3. Stir and let it melt.
  4. Add the apples, lemon juice and cinnamon.
  5. Mix and sauté over high heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a bowl, add the flour, the 1 cup of sugar, the 3/4 cup of butter and knead well until it crumbles.
  7. On a baking tray, place the apple on the bottom and crumbling dough over the top.
  8. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. When it's golden brown, remove from the oven.
  10. Serve hot, accompanied by a scoop of ice cream.
