Directions
  1. Beat the cream very firmly, add the cooked condensed milk and beat a little more.
  2. On the serving dish, place a smaller cake pan with removable bottom (bottom removed). (The pan will only hold the cake from crumbling)
  3. Place alternate layers of biscuits soaked in strong coffee, and layers of cream, always ending with a cream layer.
  4. Refrigerate for several hours (for best results refrigerate overnight).
  5. When it's time to serve, remove the cake pan, if you must, run a knife around it to loosen it, and garnish with grated Maria biscuits.

Hi Anna, it's so hard to predict because yes, people will use different sized pans, and also how thick will the layers of cream be between cookies, but keep this in mind, the smaller the pan the less cookies, if you are using a medium sized pan, I would guess around 50 biscuits. I hope that helps, good luck and enjoy.

What exactly do you mean by “cooked condensed milk”. Do you mean heated?
