My late Mother used to make something very similar to this, which she called "molho cru" (i.e. "raw sauce"), except she also added some finely chopped onion and lemon zest. It was *awesome* over fish, boiled potatoes..., really, nearly everything. Does her name version "ring a bell" with anyone else with Azorean roots?
