2 bananas, peeled in chunks2 apples, peeled in chunks2 pears, peeled in chunks2 oranges, peeled in chunks2 slices melon, peeled in chunks1 1⁄4 teaspoons brown sugarOptional:200 g dark chocolate1⁄8 cup of cream

Get Portuguese ingredients

Directions

  1. Arrange fruit on 4 brochette spears (skewers).
  2. Sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Brown under broiler or on your grill until the sugar has burnt slightly.
  4. Serve.
  5. Optional: melt chocolate in microwave, stir in cream.
  6. Serve brochettes on bed of chocolate or covered in it.
