Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups of all purpose flour1 teaspoon of baking soda1/4 teaspoon of salt1/2 cup of butter1 cup of brown sugar2 eggs, beaten2 and 1/3 cups of mashed overripe bananas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C or 350°F and lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. 
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar, stir in the eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
  4. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture until well incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then place it in a wire rack.
