10 eggs (at room temperature)1 cup of sugar2 cups of flour, sifted1 teaspoon of baking powder½ teaspoon of saltZest of one lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F / 180 C.
  2. Beat the eggs at high speed for about 20 minutes, while incorporating the sugar gradually.
  3. Then gently fold in the flour, previously mixed with the baking powder and the salt, then add the lemon zest.
  4. Place in a lightly oiled round pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  5. Wait about 10 minutes before unmolding the cake.
