Ingredients

1/2 cup of milk (about 120 ml)1 tablespoon of flour1 tablespoon of butter2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauceNutmeg (to taste)Pepper (to taste)Salt (to taste) Get Portuguese groceries & stuff Get Portuguese groceries and other stuff at Amazon.com

Directions

  1. In a small pan, heat the butter and stir until frothy, then add the flour, the milk gradually and the Worcestershire sauce, always beating with a wire rod until the sauce begins to boil.
  2. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, stir well and pour it over the steak either while cooking the steak or after.
