This refreshing and delicious Portuguese Maria biscuits ice cream recipe (receita de gelado de bolacha Maria) is easy to make.

Ingredients
1 and 3/4 cups of whipping cream (30% to 36%)1 can of condensed milk (355 ml)1 tablespoon of cocoa powder10 Maria biscuitsGrated almonds (to taste)

Directions
- Beat the cream with an electric mixer until firm, add the condensed milk gradually and continue to beat.
- Finally add the cocoa powder and stir, add the coarsely broken biscuits and the almonds.
- Pour into a covered container and place in the freezer until frozen.
- Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving, decorate with liquid caramel, and serve.
