To make bbq piri piri chicken, you will need to marinate the chicken in a mixture of piri piri seasoning, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil for at least 30 minutes (but preferably several hours) before grilling it over charcoal or gas. The marinade helps to infuse the chicken with flavor and also helps to keep it moist and tender during cooking.

Once the chicken is on the grill, you will want to cook it over medium-high heat, turning it occasionally, until it is cooked through and has a crispy, caramelized exterior. This should take about 20-25 minutes depending on the size of the chicken pieces.

When serving bbq piri piri chicken, you can garnish it with fresh herbs, such as parsley or cilantro, and serve it with sides like grilled vegetables, rice, or a salad. It's a perfect dish for a summer barbecue or any time you want to add some heat and flavor to your meal.
