Chili Peppers in Olive Oil

Ingredients
3 cups of chili peppers1 cup of black peppercorns4 cloves of garlic2 1/2 cups of olive oil2 bay leaves2 small jars

Preparation
- Wash the peppers, remove the stems and dry them thoroughly with paper towels and set aside.
- Peel the garlic cloves, crush them, and set them aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until warmed.
- Add the garlic and fry, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until golden.
- Add the bay leaves and remove from heat.
- Let the oil cool for 10 minutes.
- In two sterilized glass jars with lids (each with a capacity of about 2 cups), create alternating layers of the peppers.
- Pour the olive oil with garlic over the peppers until they are fully covered.
- Seal the jars tightly, store the jars and wait for about 1 to 2 weeks before enjoying the peppers.
