Ingredients
1 liter semi-skimmed milk (34 fl oz) 3 eggs1 tablespoon instant coffee2 packets pudding mix (3.5 oz/100g), fllavor to taste20 Maria biscuits (or plain tea cookies), crushed

Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the milk and crushed Maria biscuits.
- Let them sit for a few minutes to soften.
- Separately, dissolve the pudding mix in a small amount of the milk.
- Once dissolved, add it to the biscuit-milk mixture.
- Add the sugar, eggs, and instant coffee.
- Use a blender to mix everything until smooth and well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to a custard-like consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a caramel-coated mold (pre-greased with caramel sauce).
- Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for several hours until set.
- Once fully chilled and set, unmold onto a serving plate.
- Decorate as desired, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of crushed biscuits work beautifully.
