Ingredients

6 eggs1 cup of condensed milk1 and 3/4 cups of milk1 cup of sugar1 and 1/2 cups of sugar for the caramel3/4 cup of water for the caramel

Directions

  1. Blend together the eggs, sugar, condensed milk and milk.
  2. Make a caramel syrup with the water and sugar (in medium heat simmer the water and sugar until the syrup turns a golden caramel color). Pour into a pudding dish and spread evenly across the surface. Let it harden and pour the pudding batter on top.
  3. Bake in a water bath (banho maria) at 180ºC or 350ºF for about 45 minutes (do the toothpick test, if you are not sure; it's ready when the toothpick comes out moist but without pudding on it).
