Ingredients

2 cups of sugar7 eggs2 and 1/2 cups of flour1/2 cup of cocoa powder1/2 cup of oil1 teaspoon of baking powder1 pinch of salt1 cup of boiling water

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites into a very firm castle and set aside.
  2. With the help of a wooden spoon, mix the sugar, egg yolks, flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, oil, and salt, after everything is thoroughly mixed, add the beaten egg whites, the boiling water and mix a little more.
  3. Place the mixed cake batter in a greased cake pan, and put it in a preheated oven at 140°C or 280°F for about 40 minutes, test it with a toothpick to make sure it's cooked before removing it from the oven.
