Delicious Coffee Liqueur Recipe

A simple and easy recipe that makes a delicious coffee liqueur (licor de café). This is a drink usually enjoyed after a good meal.

Ingredients

6 cups of strong coffee2 lbs. of sugar4 cups of pure alcohol Get Portuguese ingredients

Place the filtered coffee in a saucepan with sugar and boil until it until it becomes thick.
Remove it from the heat and while still warm add alcohol.
Cool and then filter it.
Filter a second time and transfer to a decanter.
Serve immediately or let it cool and server later.
