Portuguese almond pudding, also known as "pudim de amêndoa," is a traditional dessert that is popular in Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking countries. The dessert is typically made with ground almonds, eggs, sugar, and milk or water, and it has a rich and creamy texture that is similar to flan.

To make Portuguese almond pudding, ground almonds are first toasted and then combined with milk and sugar in a saucepan. The mixture is heated until the sugar has dissolved, and then it is allowed to cool. In a separate bowl, eggs are beaten and then added to the almond mixture. The mixture is then poured into a greased baking dish and baked in a water bath until set.

Once the pudding is cooked and has cooled to room temperature, it can be garnished with sliced almonds, whipped cream, or fresh berries. Portuguese almond pudding is often served as a dessert after a meal or as a sweet treat with coffee or tea.

Overall, Portuguese almond pudding is a delicious and comforting dessert that is perfect for any occasion.
