Ingredients

¾ cup of water1 and ½ tablespoons of olive oil½ tablespoon (15 gr) of active dry yeast2 and 1/2 cups of flour1 teaspoon of saltOlive oil and flour to sprinkle

Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water with half teaspoon of sugar.
  2. Add the other ingredients and mix well.
  3. Knead until smooth and elastic. If necessary add a little more flour, mix well,  knead some more and let it rise for about an hour.
  4.  Place in the pyrex greased with olive oil, brush the surface with olive oil and flour, make a few cuts and bake in the pyrex with the lid for about 40 minutes at 200°C or 400°F.
