Sadly 25 minutes wasn’t enough for this cake to bake fully so I had to add a few more minutes on, which is fine. I used the exact measurements but the batter was so thick and elastic but I still managed to mix it ok. Unfortunately I find the cake lacks in flavour, I’m not sure if it’s a lack of sugar or other flavours. I even added some chocolate chips for extra flavour but I can’t taste much else apart from that 😔 to be honest this is the only cake I have been disappointed by, all other recipes on here are always fantastic but I would suggest if anybody else makes this to possibly add a bit more sugar or some vanilla extract or maybe a yoghurt that is slightly sweeter or more flavourful. I added proper cocoa powder so I know it wasn’t anything to do with that. The cake however isn’t awful and is edible of course & looks beautiful. The marble like look is wonderful and a great idea. Instructions on this recipe easy to follow which I’m so grateful for. Thank you as always for the recipes you kindly post to this website. I will add extras to this cake in future if I decide to make it again but that’s all as the appearance is spot on ⭐️

Any yogurt will do but I suggest plain and cocoa powder.
