Ingredients

4 eggs1 cup of sugar1/4 cup of oil1 cup of grated coconut3/4 cup of hot water3/4 cup of hot milk1 and 1/2 cups of flour1 teaspoon of baking powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC or 350ºF.
  2. Mix the eggs with the sugar and beat well.
  3. Add the oil, coconut and flour with the baking powder, beating well between each addition.
  4. Finally, add the hot water and beat a little more.
  5. Grease a cake form, put the batter in it and bake for about 35 minutes.
  6. Don't let it dry to much.
  7. Remove from the oven and pour the cup of hot milk over it.
  8. Let it cool slightly and sprinkle with grated coconut to taste.
