Chicken Mozambique is a popular dish from the African country of Mozambique. It is a spicy and flavorful dish that is typically made with chicken pieces that are marinated in a spicy sauce, then cooked in the same sauce until the chicken is tender and the flavors have melded together.

The sauce for Chicken Mozambique typically includes a combination of garlic, lemon juice, paprika, chili peppers, and coconut milk or cream. Some versions of the recipe may also include beer or white wine, which can add an additional layer of complexity to the flavor.

To make Chicken Mozambique, the chicken pieces are first marinated in the sauce for several hours or overnight, which allows the flavors to fully penetrate the meat. The chicken is then browned in a pan or on a grill before being simmered in the sauce until fully cooked and tender.

Chicken Mozambique is often served with rice or bread, which can be used to soak up the flavorful sauce. Some recipes may also include vegetables, such as bell peppers or onions, which are cooked along with the chicken for added texture and nutrition.

Overall, Chicken Mozambique is a delicious and flavorful dish that is popular in many parts of the world. Its unique blend of spicy and savory flavors makes it a great choice for anyone who enjoys bold and flavorful dishes.

I find it better to just sear the chicken and then let it cook with the sauce for about 20 minutes. Also I use a stick of butter and olive oil.
