Ingredients

2 big sheets of puff pastry (store bought)1 small chouriço, cooked and shredded1 boiled egg1 cup of tomato sauceSalt and pepper (to taste)1 egg for brushing

Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

  1. Chop the boiled egg, and mix both the egg and chouriço with the tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the pastry sheets into squares (or desired size) and put a little filling inside each square, without it reaching the edges, so that it can be moistened with some  water, then join the tips.
  3. Brush with the beaten egg and bake at 180°C or 350°F until golden brown.

P.S. You can make the filling with any meat or seafood.

This sounds wonderful, but I wouldn't include the chopped egg, and would just use the chopped chourico with a little bit of its own juice.
