Ingredients

1 big cod piece, cooked and shredded1/4 chopped red pepper1 small chopped onion2 chopped chivesChopped parsley (to taste)2 eggs1/2 beer1/2 cup of flourGround white pepper (to taste)Salt (to taste)Oil (to taste)

Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs well with beer and salt.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, leaving the flour until the end.
  3. Mix everything well and fry in plenty of hot oil.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper when they are fried and serve.

Have you tried to air fry these? If so what adjustments (if any) have you made? And what did you do for time/temp?

Nicole, we never tried, but if you were to try, make sure the consistency is a little on the harder side when you form them into balls, and cook in a preheated air fryer for about 5 to 6 minutes or until golden brown, let us know how they turn out.
