Portuguese Lime Pudding Recipe

This Portuguese lime pudding recipe (receita de pudim de lima) is very easy to prepare and tastes amazing.

Ingredients

1 cup of sugar1 and 1/2 cups of condensed milk4 tablespoons of lime juice1 and 1/2 cups of milk3 eggs2 tablespoons of lime zest Get Portuguese ingredients

Instructions

In a blender, beat the sugar, the condensed milk, the lime juice, the milk, the eggs and lime zest all together.
Place in a pudding form greased with butter and spinkled with sugar.
Bake in a water bath in a preheated oven for about 1 hour at 180ºC or 350ºF.
Let it cool and unmold, place on a serving dish and garnish with slices of lime.

Because of the large quantity of milk/condensed milk and the fact that the milk is cold and your beating everything, it shouldn't Melita, add the lime juice gradually as you keep beating. Let me know how it goes.
