Portuguese Pork & Potatoes Recipe

1 lb pork meat, cut into cubes1 lb of potatoes3 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushedSalt and pepper (to taste)2 tablespoons of pimento paste1/2 cup of white wine Get Portuguese ingredients
- In casserole dish, place the potatoes cut in half and the meat in cubes.
- Season with a little salt and pepper and add the cloves of garlic.
- Add the 2 tablespoons of pimento paste and the white wine and mix well.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C or 350°F for about 1 and 30 munites, until the meat and potatoes are tender (remove the foil in the last 20 minutes).

I just have a question..it says pork meat ?? What some specifically cut of meat Thank you

You can go with whatever you like but lean pork tenderloin cooks quicker Sue.

I'd add a small cooking onion, cut in wedges & I'd add a little olive oil (about a tablespoon) to the pimento paste-white wine mixture: It will help to coat the pork, potatoes, garlic & onions AND, it will keep everything from sticking to the pan.
